Course Description:

This course defines Situational Awareness and focuses on determining normal with the understanding that abnormal will stand out.  The course also provides information and examples of how predators bridge the gap to a person’s intimate distance.

The Situational Awareness class helps students become more proactive in identifying threats in their world by concentrating on “anomalies” and not only “threats”.

Purpose of Instruction:

The purpose of this training is to provide information meant to help individuals learn how to develop awareness anywhere they are. This is accomplished by discussing:

• Baseline of Awareness
• Anomalies
• Normalcy Bias
